MCLEAN, VA – I-66 westbound at the Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) will NOT be closed overnight tonight (Monday August 30) or any other night this week, according to the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project.

The closings are scheduled to resume occasional overnights starting on Tuesday, Sept. 7, after Labor Day, weather permitting.

The closures have been taking place to allow Dulles Rail construction crews to build large concrete structures that straddle over the road between piers, which will support bridges and structures carrying the new Silver  rail line near where it will merge into Metro’s existing Orange Line.
