The Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce annually  honors community and business leaders for their outstanding service to McLean. Sixteen men and women, our neighbors, received awards in a recent ceremony for their amazing work.  The Ear is profiling each of the 16 winners. This is the final profile.

Special Recognition to Marcia S. Twomey, President {Our energizer bunny} by Lynn Gulick Chairman of the Chamber

Marcia has been President of the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce since August 2009.

The Chamber is very fortunate to have someone as dedicated as Marcia is to the local community and to all business organizations in McLean and the surrounding area. Marcia brings an unparalleled enthusiasm to every aspect of her job.

She has been instrumental in developing relationships with local business organizations in the Mclean Community. She brings creative ideas and events to our board of directors and members. She has developed new programs and events that benefit everyone.

The Board of Directors can not thank her enough for her service to the Board and our Community. Marcia: Our hats are off to you for this phenomenal first year. It is with gratitude and my very personal honor as the 2010 Chairman of this organization to present this award to you.
